Position will lead the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law.
The Department of the Interior announced this week that Winnie Stachelberg would head the implementation of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, passed in November. She will officially join the department as the Senior Advisor and Infrastructure Coordinator, managing and overseeing over $30 billion in new investments within the Interior Department and its jurisdiction.
“Winnie brings three decades of distinguished management and public policy experience to the table to help the Department rapidly implement [the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law]. I look forward to working with her to ensure that its investments are put to work immediately to address the climate crisis and create good-paying jobs in communities across the nation,” said Interior Secretary Deb Haaland.
As the Lord Leads, Pray with Us…
- For discernment for Winnie Stachelberg as she steps into this new role.
- That Secretary Haaland would seek the Lord’s wisdom as she oversees her department.
- That the funding from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law would be used efficiently and effectively.
